Dog Park Adventure
I went to a dog park the other day with some friends and my 2 of my family's dogs. First time here and it wasn't bad. Lots of dogs around, but I didn't care. It was fun to get out and see new places. Until...
I saw that camera! I DO NOT like cameras. They freak me out. Which explains why my foster mom hasn't posted many of me
Here I am with my 2 family dogs, Ali, the black tri color, who was a failed foster that they adopted and her sidekick Sienna, the liver and white one. I'm the same color as Sienna.

Happy 4th of July
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to say, that I hope you all are enjoying the Freedom that this day brings us. I know I am. I must admit though, that I really don't like having my picture taken so it's hard for my foster mom to get any of me.

Update From My Foster Home
Lynn has been in our home for a month now. When she came she was shy and didn't interact with the 4 other dogs in the house. She showed signs of being Alpha. Food protective and would stand and stare at what appeared to be at nothing. She didn't know how to sit in your lap and when picked up and put in it, would sit stiff.
In this past week, she has warmed up to human contact, reacts to her name, venturing outside in the yard more on her own, coming to you for petting, has jumped in my lap once and stayed comfortably.
She gets very excited if she thinks she is going for a walk, rides well in the car, has started picking stuffed toys from the toy basket, but doesn't play with them. She loves attention, but not needy for it. Sleeps on a dog bed through the night, but will stay in her kennel as well. She is fully housebroken and will go to the door when she wants to go out. She gets really excited for her dog treats and will sit when asked in order to get it. She doesn't get on furniture very often and seems more content to lay on a dog bed or floor. She still will try to be Alpha, but has never shown interest in fighting for it. If told "no" she will stop. At the moment, she still doesn't show interest in playing with other dogs, but in her defence, mine haven't shown interest in pursing it with her either.
If you are looking for a quiet dog that loves to go for walks, Lynn would be perfect for you.

Progress Report

Lynn (aka Lynette) is now in another foster home in Illinois for her vetting/spay. She came to my home one week ago and is adjusting to another new place. She is quite, and is learning the routine. Come back again, for another update in a couple weeks. Thanks for stopping by.

Lynette is doing well at home now. She is enjoying time in a home and loves to play with our two dogs. She gets along great with our daughters and loves a great belly rub. We are working on manners but she is not too bad. She is housebroken and crate trained. She is out of heat and will be spayed soon.

Lynette is fitting in with our family very well now after two weeks here. She loves to play with our dogs and is actually initiating playtime. She is having no problems with eating and is on a schedule. Last night for the first time she crashed out in the family room with all of us and took a nap. She hopefully is approximately half way to becoming spayed and then will be ready for her forever loving home.

My Shell Is Breaking

She is not an intrusive dog and loves to play outside.
Lynette is starting to feel at home and come out of her shell. She is interacting well with our two dogs and receives attention from kids well. She is learning to receive attention and cuddling and starting to spend more time with the family but still likes her times alone. She has a wonderful personality and when excited she wiggles from head to toe.
